tate Sen. Phil Pavlov and his legislative staff on Wednesday helped paint a house in Port Huron with Habitat for Humanity of St. Clair County.

The work was organized by the Legislators Building Communities initiative, a summer-long opportunity for Michigan lawmakers to participate in service projects that strengthen neighborhoods in their districts.

“Habitat for Humanity and Legislators Building Communities are two outstanding and very effective organizations that serve those in need,” said Pavlov, R-St. Clair Township. “It was a pleasure for me and my dedicated staff to work with them today.”
