Pavlov to announce grant for a local business-to-business web portal

LANSING–State Sen. Phil Pavlov will speak at the St. Clair Economic Development Alliance’s annual meeting this Wednesday, November 30, where he will help announce a $4,500 grant from AT&T for development of the Alliance’s “Biz Portal” website.

“The St. Clair Economic Development Alliance’s new Biz Portal is an exciting resource to help connect local job makers as we work to reinvent Michigan,” said Pavlov, R-St. Clair Township. “The entire thumb can be thankful for the work the St. Clair Community Foundation and the Alliance are doing to grow and create jobs and for AT&T’s partnership and commitment to the region.”

Brief:
AT&T awarded a $4,500 grant to the Community Foundation of St. Clair to give to the St. Clair EDA for development of the Biz Portal, an online website intended to promote business-to-business activity. The database allows companies in the county to keep an online profile of their business and post and search for business opportunities. The goal is to increase business-to-business transactions and to increase awareness of local businesses.
