Lansing, Mich.— Sen. Phil Pavlov and the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce in Port Huron will welcome Gov. Rick Snyder for a public town hall on Friday, June 8.
“This is a great opportunity for St. Clair County and the Blue Water area to show Governor Snyder how we are leading Michigan’s reinvention,” said Pavlov, R-St. Clair Township. “The Blue Water Area Chamber and the Blue Meets Green economic development initiative are enabling our cities to come alive again.
“The buzz about restaurants, new lofts and activities filling the streets again is exciting. I appreciate the opportunity to showcase our community to the governor, and I know he’ll be impressed by what he sees.”
The town hall forum will give the governor and Pavlov an opportunity to hear questions and concerns firsthand from local residents. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. The forum will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the McMorran Theatre, located at 701 McMorran Blvd. in Port Huron.
There is no cost to attend, and RSVPs are not necessary. Questions may be directed to Pavlov’s Office at (517) 373-7708.
